*Covid Update: London in Tier4*

The committee has made a very difficult decision that the mosque will close for all daily and jumah prayers beginning after Isha on Monday 21 December 2020 until at least after Isha on Monday 4 January 2021. We will review the situation then and make a further announcement.

We are facing a dangerous phase in the spread of Coronavirus. There is a mutation of the virus which is spreading rapidly in London. Many of our musallis and/or their family members are infected. The new variant may be up to 70% more transmissible than the previous one.

The new mutation has increased an average of 60% over the last four weeks.

non-essential retail will be forced to close in tier 4 areas.

Those in Tier 4 are not allowed to travel to other tiers.

Tier 4 instructs you to stay at home. You are only allowed to meet one person outside.

You are not allowed to leave home. Only for some exceptions.

In the interest of the health and safety of our imams, volunteers and our musallis, we have taken this decision.

We are one of the communities most at risk.
